Annual mandatory customer service training training for all staff

All staff have annual mandatory training on many aspects of general practice

What could the practice do to improve

Nothing the service was outstanding as always

The phone queue is a nightmare I was 20 in the que

Please listen to options of a call back rather than waiting in the queue as soon as a phone line comes free you will be called back

We need to be quickly reminded of our appointments

We do send a text message to remind you of your appointments the day before. Please ensure your mobile number is up to date with the practice

Have a Saturday morning emergencies only

If you require an emergency appointment on a Saturday call 111, we also offer on our extended access evening up to 8pm Monday to Friday and Saturday appointment these are at Newton Health Health Centre and are book through your Practice

Reception team are welcoming and very friendly

Waiting 3 weeks for a blood test is ridiculous

This was due to annual leave not normal practice Other options book for our extended access evenings and weekends Book appointment at local hospital

For now maintain your standard

Gp was fine but I needed to book to book direct with the Pharmacist

This is now an option and you can book direct with Pharmacist for a medication review

Don't be as rigid with your alloted 10 minute appointments, some patients may need less time but some may need more, very frustrating

Our minimum appointment time is 10 minute as Doctor has to type in consultation, if you have more than one medical condition to discuss then you can book a double appointment

What could you practice do to improve in your opinion

They don't need to do anything because it is all excellent
